Compression from Scratch with Rust: Huffman Coding Tutorial Video
After a long while, I finally have enough time & energy to work on new edited videos for my channel.
And to start it all, one of my favourite algorithms: Huffman coding. It’s effective, (mostly) straightforward to implement, and uses 2 of my favourite datastructures: binary trees & hash maps.
It’s also my first video edited with DaVinci Resolve and I made slides for it with Figma. Before I always used Final Cut & Sketch.
Resolve is beyond fire - will most likely stay with it for good :) Figma is more of a complicated story, but I’m still a noob, so let’s see how it goes.
